Will the Legendary Map Pack become Free for Halo 3?

i payed for the heroic one, and then it whent free.
so i decided to wait and see if the legendary one would go free also.
So will it, pleaseanswer to the best of your knowledge.

When Bungie released their first pack pack for Halo3, they announced when it would become free. I guess a lot of people just waited for it to become free. After that they do not say dates when they will become free. If you look at Halo2, every map pack became free at one point. They are just trying to get the most money they can. Bungie keeps saying at this point in time we have no interest to put the maps out for free. So it will happen at some point in time.
