will they be making new maps for gears of war 360 version and halo maps??

I remember downloading a video a while back that said they weren't making new Gears maps, and just concentrating on Gears of War 2. As for Halo 3 they will be making more maps but haven't released anything to suggest when they will be released. No more maps will be made for Halo: Combat Evolved, or for Halo: 2
