X-Box live, Halo 3 help!?

Ok I just bought x-box live and im playing halo 3 on costum games, multiplayer. Then i switch to x-box live and then i start the game and theres no one there. how do i get people to join. this is my first time so i have no friends to invite. explain step by step please.

Sorry to tell you this, but no one will randomly join your game if your playing custom. To get friends, you need to play online games (having a mic helps tremendously) and just talk to people. Send some friends requests to people online that you think are nice and will play with you, maybe get some friends you know and see if they have accounts as well. Soon, you'll have tons of friends online and it becomes even more fun to play.
