Xbox 360 halo 3 help!!!?

Ok,when i turn on my xbox 360 and go to halo 3. Then i click on forge with my Friends and it says players unable to download content then i tried campaignn (solo) and it still sayed that.I put in other games and they worked correctly. can any one help me?

Even after a game is released, developers still make Down-Loadable-Content a.k.a. DLC. DLC is something like, multiplayer maps, story modes, and updates.

If you don't download the Halo 3 maps, then you can't participate in the same things as people who are using the DLC. There is little tolerance in Matchmaking for people who don't download the free DLC. So far, there is the Heroic Map-Pack for Halo 3, and the Cold Storage Map, for free.

The ones that cost money are the Legendary Map-Pack, and the Mythic Map-pack.
