xbox 360 halo 3 help?

on halo 3 in the custom games section when you play 2 players like with someone sitting next to u. but if u hav no one to play with can u play like the computer on it. i dont have xbox live or a system link i jus want to play like i do with my friends jus playin the computer tho. is this possible

No, it is not possible, I suggest playing the campaing on legendary, or getting XlinkKai (free lan play over the internet).
