ok here's the detail when playing on my 32 inch hdtv using a hdmi cable and playing offline multiplayer, there are huge black gaps on the edges but once i put my hd Component cable these gaps are nonexistent only problem is, as we all know hdmi cables have better Quality than component cables (hdmi resolution 762p to 1080p ,component 460p to 720p) can i fix this split screen problem of do i have sacrifice better resolution for bigger split screen so basically put in component cable in each time i play halo 3 p.s when using hdmi cable on solo player it plays in full screen with no gaps with best quality on all my games
