Xbox Live: Halo 3 always laggy?

Every other game I play works fine and is normal but when I try and play Halo 3 it tells me my NAT is wrong or somethin, every game I play it is always red bar lag...and im not downloading on the computer or anythin, ive done various tests with it on and off....

any suggestions??

I'm no expert at networking, but I think the problem might be with a firewall or security program strictly limiting the amount of data being able to pass through your network. Because Halo 3 has players from all around the world, an anti virus program or filter in your router or wherever you get your internet may take the foreign players as a possible virus threat, thus limiting the data you can receive/transmit from others.

if u use it threw the computer turn off the internet browser

get faster internet or it might be your disc.

from experience that is how it has been sense they did there update.

This usually happens when your router (dlink linksys... etc) doesn't have the right ports open. You can usually just call the microsoft helpline and they'll tell you what to do. Or you can get some nerd to do it ;p
