Xbox Live Question, To Do With Halo 3, Bungie.Net and Gamertags.?

Hello Everyone. My xbox 360 is At MicroSoft Getting Fixed Because Of the 3 Red Rings.

2. When it Comes back, Im Going to Delete my Xbox Live Profile, Named DeathGeneration.

3. Then Im Going to make a new Account Called DeathGeneration (Same as my Old One). And Im Going to Make It Join Xbox Live.

4. I Play Halo 3 And Like my Stats and Kill/Death Ratio On Bungie.net to be good.

5. So When i Make a New Account With the Same name as My Old One.. And Play Halo 3 For a Bit..

6. Will Bungie.net Reset all the Stats and Stuff Of my Old Xbox Live Account?

7. Eg. My Old DeathGeneration,
Had a KillDeath Ratio Of 100-900, Umm, 100 Beat Downs and 50 Sticks Ect..

8. I Make a New Account with the same name of my old account.
i search up my new gamertag. and the stats will be reseted and will now be KillDeath ratio of 10-12, 10 Beat Downs and 5 Sticks?

Would that Happen? Thanks for Reading. Please answer i Dont know what to do.

If you shut your account I think the username will be unavailable.

What you'd have to do is rename the current account to something like:

DeathGeneration111

Then you'd be able to create the new account with the name:
DeathGeneration

I'm not sure what Bungie will do though.
