    Anyone know how rankings work in Halo 3?

    I play Halo alot and I am a Lieutenant with the capability to become a Major, but my rank is too low. Inorder to rank up do you need to win consecutive games? Be MVP in all games/win? or what ? I have heard both, but I am not sure. I am having problems ranking up, any suggestions as well?
