ok, i am trying to get all the newest halo 3 achievements for the live version, my question is what the heck are the achievements for?? do they unlock armor?? are they just gamer points and if they are gamer points what the heck are gamer points used for? sorry i am kinda new to the halo 3 live... -

Countering Energy Sword Attacks on Halo 3?
I've been having a problem using the Energy Sword on Halo 3. Usually, 1 swipe is all it takes to kill an opponent. However, it seems that every time I lash at an opponent, they counter. How is this possible? It took 4 slashes last night to gain a kill on slayer using swords. I try to juke...
