Yup I got Halo 3 over here in London, 2 days ago. The idiots at a store were selling it early, without realising the official release date for Europe was the 26th......
First of all I am a true Halo Fanboy, so what I am about to say shocks even me : )
Sadly, Its a tad disappointing. The jump from 1 - 2 was a lot bigger than from 2 to 3, which was unexpected. The plot is lame and the loss of the elites as an enemy is a big failing....
Also for me, the graphics werent good enough, which was an issue raised during the crackdown beta. Gears of War, trashes Halo 3 when its comes to Graphics. I would go as far to say, the graphics are not even next gen really.....
Also they sort of reused maps from Halo 1-2, except with new textures, which is plain annoying. They went for bigger is better, adding more weapons and bigger maps; but sadly something got lost......
Worth a buy, but it is not on a par with Halo 2
