No, they were going to but they cancelled it because hollywood problems and horrible script.

The Halo movie is all up in the air. As of now, they have stopped filming and production is on hold. Talks of a movie have been going on for a long time, but they've had a lot of script issues and production issues. So, don't bank on the release dates that many here have posted.

I am not so sure, but I am definate they are making a movie based on Gears Of War. I aren't sure if you have ever heard of it but if you haven't, it's a great game.
