i was reading a post and it says that there will be a halo movie, is this correct? is this real? are they really making a halo movie? if so when?????

They were making one and planning to have it out in 2012. It was supposed to be from the perspective of an ODST but I heard that it got canceled and isn't being made anymore. I may be wrong but that's what I heard.
