Call of Duty 4 or Halo 3???

I just got my new Xbox 360 Pro last weekend and have been playing ea Skate ever since. The game is really fun but my friends are always suggesting some shooters. So i picked out the top 2 that almost everyone is talking about. I have some experience with Halo since i've played the first Halo and the second. But never played Call of Duty games before. Which should i rent or buy???

Definitely COD4, I've played it and it's AWESOME!!
It's a great shooter game, so you should SOOO get that one, the guy above me is right, anything else is for chumps!! Now get that game and go pone some nubes!!

1. Halo has a great campain and quality matchmaking but not great

2. COD4 has both great campain and match making if i had to choose between the 2 i would go with halo

start with COD 4. halo 3 is still basically the same gameplay as halo 2 just with new maps, weapons, and playlists. COD 4 introduces the new progresion thingy where the better you get, the more xp, and better weapons and add-ons. but halo 3 is still addicting. so i'd still probly rent both first.
