can halo 1 for the pc connect to halo 2 pc via online connection?

my dad recently got halo 2 and i have the first one we both have them for the pc i need to know if we can connect and if so how? help!

thereis no way to connect them ,the games are completely different and the servers are completely different as well. Sorry
