Can Halo 2 run on a 1.70 Ghz processor?

I bought Halo 2 a few days ago for my new Windows Vista Home Basic laptop and I looked the the requirements and it said i need 2 Ghz required. I only have 1.70 Ghz. I have all the other requirements but can it still run on a 1.70 Ghz processor? I really want to play it. What should I do
