CAN I still play Halo 2 online multiplayer with xbox 360??? HELP?

i wanna buy Halo 2 but I don't know If i can still play the online multiplayer, cuz I know the orginal xbox live got shut down, and this is a original xbox game.... I'm confused can I still play original xbox games live multiplayer?? with xbox 360???
