can someone help me with halo 1 pc video driver troubles?

i have a pretty ordinary computer 448 mb ram 3gh prosessor no video card no fan and im not sure about the video card but recently i bought halo for pc -combat evolved- and it says vidoe acceleration disabled please run dxdiag.


so i did and it says

The system is using the generic video driver. Please install video driver provided by the hardware manufacturer.
To test DirectDraw functionality, click the "Test DirectDraw" button above.
Direct3D functionality not available. You should verify that the driver is a final version from the hardware manufacturer.

i did the tests and everything was sucessful but halo still wont run and the dxdiag error keeps coming up

can anyone help me

i dont know much computer talk and i have no idea how to check my video card could anyone tell me step by step how to get it working ;S

I don't really know what you're talking about, but if you do have a video card, install the latest drivers for it. They can be found on the manufacturers website. Let's say you have a nVidia geforce FX 5200, then download the drivers for that card.

I hope this helps you since Halo is a really good game.
