can u beat halo 3 on legendary ?

i was wondering if u have to beat each mission entirely or can u start from a rally point and beat them from there to get the achievements?

you have to complete each mission from the start. Its really hard, yo need to do it in coop mode

i did it solo in the first week it came out. Had to take 4 days off work.

So much reloading to checkpoints. P.S Snipers are insane

You have to start from the beginning of the level in order to get credit for beating that level (see: achievements). You can't start from a rally point. You can do this solo or in co-op and get the beat the game on Legendary achievement.
