can you make more than one halo 3 account?

My brother and I just bought halo 3. When we sign in to a halo 3 account (not an xbox live name) we have the same name-same campaign, same symbol, same settings. I want to make my own account so we can have our own person.

This was probably pretty confusing, so tell me if it is before you answer.

there should be a way to make more than 1 account, and is a awesome? and you cant have the same name, and cant duplicate accounts

Yeah me and my bro had the same situation with the same symbol etc. All you need to do is just customize it. Just go the the main menu and press the start button (I believe that right just look in lower left hand corner of the screen and it will tell you the button.) There you can edit name, color, symbol, etc.
