Cant Find Own Dedicated Server? Halo PC 1.08?

I just recently became interested in Halo dedicated servers :)P), and I got all the software, and settings I needed. I then clicked the haloded.exe Icon, and it opened in the command prompt. Nothing was wrong, the maps were working, my settings were working, but when I opened up halo, I couldn't find my game :O

I'm pretty sure others could, becuase at one point someone even joined!

So I started looking around in google, and found that you cant access your server from the computer that your running it on.

Is that true? Is there anyway to get past that?

I followed this guide EXACTLY: http://b4k.2ksite.com/halo-dedicated-server-t120.html-sid=833f15a5aec740222885322a25dea30a. I am running Halo PC, version 1.08, and I am pretty sure I have the right Dedicated Server. If I do not have the necessary software, links would be great :D

Oh, and here is my init file:

sv_name "Sh@ Dedicated Server!!! Snipers!!! Xfire: shamil8124"
sv_mapcycle_timeout 5
sv_maxplayers 4
sv_rcon_password "rcon"
sv_public true
sv_mapcycle_add bloodgulch "SNP 1"
sv_mapcycle_add bloodgulch "SNP 2"
sv_mapcycle_add bloodgulch "SNP 3"
sv_mapcycle_begin

If there is anything wrong, Plz correct :D

Thanks Guys in advance :p

You shouldn't join your dedicated servers, they are dedicated, and that means that the running computer and user must dedicate himself to administrating and running the server. I do not know any dedicated server program that let you join it yourself, but if you want to play on your server, create a listen server.
