Did Halo 3 live up to all the hype?

It was a great game i think, i beat it and got all 1000 gamerpoints, but online is getting pretty boring since you only gain rank and dont unlock new weapons, and you can't even use the katana WTF??!!??

I agree. You should have been able to use the katana. I also didnt like the fact they took off the "lock on" on the rocket launcher.

I agree (The only one I cant get is the Marathon man... because the terminal's are being all ****y)
but other than that... I wasnt too impressed with it.
The online is shot to hell too... it's not even fun anymore.
The campaign was allright... but extremely short ='( (Even on legendary)
Apparently a few people felt that way too... Because CoD4 took #1 in sales for 2007 (& only being out for Two months!!!)
