I'm having an issue saving my progress in HALO 3. I get to a certain spot in the game, I reach checkpoints, and my game does not save. I'll get through many checkpoints, but the game will start and a previous checkpoint that I past a long time ago and I have to play many missions over just to get back to the point where I was at. This is not the known bug when trying to play my save on another 360. This is staying on my 360, save and exit, power off, come back and play the next day and most of all of my progress has been lost. I'm playing legendary with 9 gb free on my HDD.
