Does Halo 1 work on the Xbox 360?

I just wanted to know if Halo 1 would work on the xbox 360

Yes. That halo series was a great success for micrsoft so theve made the 360 completely back-compatible with halo 1 and several other great selling games.

yes ofcourse it will work. i personaly tried it on mine. but i don't think it will work on xbox 360 arcade.i have xbox 360 elite

Instead of buying the game on the xbox live marketplace, download a free patch from the official xbox website, burn it into a disc, and insert it into your console.

The patch allows reverse compatibility with a decent amount of xbox games and saves you a pretty penny. This will most likely be the only time you'll have to burn the disc on account of the list of games won't be updated.
