does halo wars have the same online multiplayer option as halo 3?

you know how halo 3 has the option were you can play along side your friends on the same system without having another xbox live account well does halo wars have the same thing as that?

since its a rts it would be impossible to do so considering you would have to share the screen making the game almost impossible to play especially for a rts you need the WHOLE screen xD
