Does Halo Wars Strategic Options give experience points?

Do you gain online experience points for playing the new games from the DLC Strategic Options? As in, do the xp that you get from the new games count toward your overall xp for ranks?

I want to get it, but only if your xp carries over from the old stuff to the new games and vice versa.
