Does Microsoft or Bungie plan on releasing the Legendary Map Pack for Halo 3

for free? In a similar fashion as when they made the Heroic map pack free when the Legendary map pack came out?

no the legendary map pack is worth the 600 ms points. the heroic was not is not and will never be worth 600 ms point... but i would have paid that just for the grifball map.

it may be free when odst comes out...

The Heroic map pack ended up being free after a while, so I'm sure they'll make Legendary free after a while too.

Just wait and see what happens.

They stated on release that they had no plans of making the Legendary Map Pack free.

However, this may have (very recently) changed with the release of the Mythic Pack.
