Explain the new Halo 3 commercial.?

Is that the believe?

Its supposed to fuel the stories that MC dies at the end of Halo3.

He doesnt die, its just a way to get ppl interested in the game by makin them think they'll be in a big battle like the one shown there.

I know, I feel the same way. There's these Halo toys and then Master Chief holds this ball in his hand and the words "Believe" come on screen. It's probably the dumbest videogame commercial I've seen. I don't know, I guess you have to know the Halo series in order to get the commercial but I'm a Sony gamer, so I don't know anything about Halo.

if you had ever played halo before, you would know that the blue ball in his hand is a plasma gernade. and my interpretation of the ad is that everyone thought he is dead but he isn't.
