How do i "activate my account" on bungie.net.

I want that little symbol thing next to my name when on multiplayer and was told to activate my account on www.bungie.net ... but i cant fin where to do this.

If anyone could talk me through it step by step i would appreciate it .... + i would give you 10 points

I think u have to buy the bungie membership ... check it i just got my halo 3... go to where u share ur videos and stuff and it tells u to buy a membership
