good xbox 360 games, and halo 3 question?

Ok, first off, what are some really good xbox 360 games that are action/role playing/shooters? if they are rated M do not say any that are rated for things like strong language of nudity(my mom has a problem with games that have those things). and second, is it me or was halo 3 kind of disappointing? i mean the forge is amazing, but the campaign was not so solid and was very short, i beat the game on legendary in like 3 hours. so, list some good xbox 360 games and you opinion on halo 3

hmm halo 3 might be a little bit of a dissapointment for most people but hopefully it will not damage halo's reputation....

I thought that halo 3 sucked. and its really hard to find a good action?shooting game that doesnt have those ratings, so try going to a game store and seeing what they have. that's how i found my fave game, guitar hero.

My favorite action/role playing/shooters are Elder scrolls Oblivion, Call of Duty3 (4 will be good too), Lost Planet, so far thats all I have that dont have what your mom don't like, (sorry if that isn't what you are looking for) but as for Halo 3 i really like it but the story was short and (to me anyway) kind of dramatic.
