Halo (1,2,3) Warthog built in real life questions?

So there where a couple of guys that made a Warthog from Halo and i was wondering how they did it.

like:

the frame
Engine
What "car" they started out with and things like that

i wanted to ether BUILD one or BUY one (my dad would help me build one and i know it would be VERY hard)

anyone know anything about this? where i can go to see HOW it was made?

If you can build cars then you should already know how it's makeable Just look at the pic of it and build one the same. Nobody here could possibly tell you.
