Is there anyway I can get Halo to work on Windows 7 with no problems?
I have the white MacBook and for a long time I used Boot Camp to run Windows Vista. I would use Windows Vista for any program that I wanted to use that did not work on a Mac. When I ran Windows Vista I played the computer game Halo #1 Combat Evolved and the game ran fine with no problems at all. I just bought Windows 7 the day after Christmas. I took Windows Vista off my MacBook and I installed Windows 7. Everything works fine with Windows 7. I even got some of my old Windows 98 computer games to work. After I installed Halo #1 and started to play the game, everything was going fine at first. Then when I got a gun and started to shoot the bad guys and also when anyone else in the game started shooting I would see random colors. I never saw these random colors when I played the game on Windows Vista. I tried to set the comptibility mode to for Halo to Windows xp SP2 and that did not get rid of the random colors in the game. Then I tried to set the comptibility mode for halo to Windows Vista and that did not help at all. Then I tried to set the comptibility mode for Halo to Windows Vista SP2 and that did not help at all.
I don't play Halo through the internet.
The Halo game I have says that it only works up to Windows XP. So I was glade to see that it worked on Windows Vista. When I bought Windows 7 I thought I would install Halo and give it a try to see if it works.
