Halo 1 multi-player?????

My brother and I each have a computer at home and we have one Halo 1 CD that we used to download it on our computers. But when we go on multi-player we can play against each other even though we set up a LAN between his and my computer. What do we do to play multi-player with each other?

Get another copy of the disc. Unless I'm mistaken, you need the disc to run the game and keep it running.
