HALO 1 PC Create Game Help PLZ!?!?!?!?

I own Halo for the computer obviously and I need to know how to make my created game display. I have it set to T1/LAN every time I try to make a game no one joins. Also it doesnt display on the main list because I called my friend to play and he couldnt find it. Please help.

dont do LAN do teh other one cuz LAN is local area network and so only people on your network can see it or join. i had this problem too so switch it to the other one and then it will be on the mainlist and your friend can join
