Halo 1 PC! HELP!?

I've just bought Halo: Combat Evolved for the PC, and I have all the recommended requirements. But when I play it, the game flickers badly. Anyone know what's happening, and a way to fix it!?

You never want to have just the recommended requirements. To be able just to have that there can't be anything else running. Sounds like your video or RAM

it could be that the calibration or the setting its set to is off and you need to ajust them
