Halo 1 PC patch download problem?

This is kind of wierd, when I click internet on Halo, it says that I need admin priviliges to download this patch..but..I am on the admin account, my pc runs on vista home preminum if that helps.

Hi Dizzy. I asked my husband your question who is a retired computer systems engineer from the air force and a total computer geek and gamer along with my children (I should say we don't personally play Halo though. They are currently stuck on Left 4 Dead...24/7 lol.). with that said lol he replied to your question " That it may have just been a notification that you needed to be the admin and that if you were then it should not have stopped you from downloading the patch. He also stated that if you were not then it may not run properly. However i reminded him that you are so he replied then you should go for it and have no problems. Our home net system has some vista computers on it and some not so he is familiar enough if you have any further problem feel free to contact me and i can ask him for you again. especially if you were not able to download that patch. good luck!
