halo 1 runs slow on my laptop?

And i want to know what i can do to speed it up, i already changed the games settings and my video card settings to the best settings i can. i have nvida graphics card with windos vista premium and 2 gb memory.

Check the official site for system reqs and make sure your graphics card is somewhere on the list. Also, no matter the laptop, they're not great for handling games even if you bought it as a 'gaming pc'. PC games are usually a huge file size. Seems to be a common thing lately.

Laptops aren't for gaming. The only thing you can do is overclock.
