HALO 1 Tips and Tricks?

I know that this question is way outdated, but my friends and I still love and play the original almost everyday on multiplayer. I am a decent player but am looking to get better and any tips or things that could possibly help me would be awesome. To give some details we never play big levels like blood gultch, and rarely use any vehicles and snipers. Everything else is fair game. Thanks!!

Yes...this a very very outdated question...and id on't see why you play Halo 1, when 2 and 3 are out there. Tips and tricks?

Reload after you kill someone. always reload, before going into a new area. this goes for any first person shooter game.

Use grenades to your benefit. If you know someone is crouched in a room. Toss it against the wall and it should land at his or her feet.

In Halo 1, the pistol is extremely powerful. Use that as a sniper, it can hit someone about 200ft away.
