im getting 2 controls and getting halo 3 but on xbox live can me and my cousin be on teams?like my cousin is coming on friday and can he be on my team on xbox live ??????

Unfortunately, you cannot do this. You'll need two different consoles hooked up on two different televisions for this to work. So, in order to play with just 2 players, you'll have to play offline. Sorry!
