Halo 3 achievements?

Try to follow me to understand a little better. I was at my cousions house playing Halo 3 with him. He had lost internet so we decided to do campaign. I did all but two missions, and got the achievements for the rest of them. I went home, recovered my account to my xbox 360. My achievements didn't follow. I went back to my cousions house a week later and he had internet again. I recovered my account there so I could play while I was there, but my achievements still aren't there anymore. Any suggestions?
The dude with the second answer, thanks I understand your answer completely. You are getting best answer I understand now. BUT, my cousion did not remove my account. I recovered it to my xbox at home so I could play there once I had to go back home. So it's my fault.

So your cousin removed your account from his Xbox when you were done?

Well... you can't store your achievements on the server when you're not connected to the server. Therefore, since you lost internet, they were never on the server, which is why they weren't on your account at your house. That's also why they weren't there when you recovered your account from the server again. That's also why, if your cousin removed your account from his Xbox, those achievements were lost, because they can't be restored from the Xbox when they've been deleted, and they cant be restored from the server they were never on.

All you can do is get them again, and if you get it at your cousin's house and the same thing happens ask your cousin not to remove the account till he reconnects.

i had the same problem with r6v2.you can't recover the points. you'll just have to do it again
