halo 3 achievments?

can the achievments on online get achieved on splitscreen ?

You cant in the Lone Wolves ranked playlist, simply because it doesnt allow you to have parties join that.
you can easily get the Boarding achievement (i think its called "maybe next time buddy") in a regular play list.
they're effing tough to get and they did it that way so you couldnt stack the ranked games and get all of your achievements in one game.

You can get some of the achievements, like the campaign ones.

But the ones that say "Ranked Free For All match" must be done ONLINE in a RANKED game.
