halo 3 achivement?

how do u get the destroy a vichael with using equipment????

Do it on the campaign level, "Tsavo Highway". A little ways into the level there will be an opportunity to pick up trip mines. Once you pick one up find a brute chopper driving around. Shoot the chopper up a bit using an Assault rifle or battle rifle. Don't destroy it, but you have to "loosen" it up a bit.

After you've hurt it a little bit, wait until it's heading towards you and drop the tripmine. It'll blow it up real quick. Then you'll have your achievement.

The achievement has to be done with "equipment".(i.e. tripmine, power drainer, bubble shield, etc.) Plasma grenades are not "equipment".

I'm pretty sure you can only get the points for doing it on multiplayer, haven't gotten it but try a hover jump right next to a canyon or something and then dodge at the last moment, best if you do it with a friend
