Halo 3: Cortana Heroic Help?

I have completed all missions on Halo 3 in heroic or legendary but Cortana is THE HARDEST LEVEL EVER. Any tips on how to get past the hordes of flod? Weapons and equipment? I would relly happy if you could help me. I know, it is ages since Halo 3 was released but I only got a 360 Elite. Thanks for the help, I would like to know which weapons to use. Tah

Your Best Bet Is To Use Plasma Rifles, Shotguns, And Brute Shots.
Most Marine Weapons Arent Actually That Helpful.
Pistols Dont Work, They Just Backfire On You, And You Have To Be Pretty Accurate With The BR And Go For Headshots Only Otherwise It Takes Ages.
And Make Sure You Grab The Incinerator At The First Floor When You Get Up The Hill, Its Really Helpful (Aslong As They Dont Run Into You On Fire)
If You Play With Another Person Its Alot Easier Cos They Can Watch Your Back Because Alot Of The Time They Drop Behind You.
Oh Yea And When You Get To Johnson, Kill Him And Take His Spartan Laser, Then Shoot Him With It And Take The New One And It Has Infinite Ammo.

You definitely need the shotgun or sword (but not both or it hard to kill the mini ones and they will sap ur health). When going into a room hide from the flood that stick 2 walls as they can be very annoying so take them out when others are dead (btw a well aimed plasma or spike grenade will really help here).

don't use the flamethrower as it slows u down and they Can attack from behind.
on the way out don't kill everybody u can run past lots of them fine just be quick!!
