halo 3 highest skill problem?

man.idk what the heck is happening. i've been playing halo 3 and winning matches and getting mvp and just been winning like CRAZY. and i've been doin that for about a month and my highest skill hasent gone up once. i went from a luitenent to a capt. grd. 2and i did go up in skill and in lone wolves i went from a 5 to an 11 and i did rank up .someone help me im getting really ****ed off

I know that the new rank system is supposed to be a more fair and balanced one, but i've seen this before. I am not exactly sure why it happens though. It's possible that many of the people you have beaten have not won many games lately, which I believe has a direct effect on whether or not you rank up for beating them. Go there and ask...Those forums are only a couple of days old, so there aren't many people there who will give you a hard time. Someone will probably know something more than me.
