Halo 3 IWHBYD Skull trouble? please help?

right i have been trying to get this skull for ages now.

i started the level from the start on normal mode, worked my way upto the Thunderstorm Skull, then got to the rings.

i killed the prophet and destroyd the flood and attempted to get the skull. the order i jumped through the rings was like so - 4 6 5 4 5 3 4, 1 being the closest to the entrance and 7 being closest to the prophet. when i jumped through them they didnt even make a noise like halo3planet says it should!
After doing the code....nothing heppened. i even did it another 2 times....still nothing!

can anyone tell me what im doing wrong? i was thinking hat it may be because i got the thunderstorm skull on the same level, but that cant be it!

and i cannot do co-op mode right now.

look listen to me i'm have all the achievments on halo I have katana. 4,6,5,4,5,3 is the sequense I had trouble getting the skull to pop up I had the skull but it still said no when I checked in main menu be safe and finish the level with the skull like I did
