Halo 3 Legendary Achievement?

'll keep it short, sharp, sweet and simple.

When getting the Achivement "Campaign Complete: Legendary" you have to complete Halo 3 on Legendary as it says: "Finish the Campaign on Legendary (unlocks achievements for Normal and Heroic, if not earned)."

My Question is:
When completing the campagin do you HAVE to start from the start of the Mission "Arrival" on Legendary? (So click on "Start solo Game" or something?"
~or~
Can I start ANY level from the Campaign Lobby and complete it legendary until they are all complete? (Example: Do the Campagin backwards or something like that - becuase i have completed every level on Normal)

I NEED TO KNOW ASAP - Im soloing the game, and I dont want to waste time if i do it incorrectly.

you can do it differnt levels at different times. and switch around thooough if you going for the marathon acheivment then you must play by your self or with a friend for the full acheivment. (does not matter how many)
