Well I completed the Halo 3 game on legendary and I looked at the ending again to see if I can get a clue what planet that is but when I paused it at a certain part it looked like the flood planet. here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LpbEr0E5hE&feature=related pause the ending at 3:01 and look very closely.
