Halo 3 map pack?

[Help Me!]

(This question isn't for me, it's for my friend Andy that is thinking about using his free Silver Xbox live account.)

He wants to know if he can download the new Halo 3 Map pack with a Silver account, and if they'll stay when his account expires. All he wants to do is mess around with Foundry and make sweet forge maps.

So...can he do that?
Does he NEED a gold account to download the new maps?

no as long as u have the points for it (microsoft points) u can get it with silver

no u just need to get microsoft points and u can download it. and yes they will stay there when the account expires.

but i would seriously reccommend getting gold anyway because halo 3 is one of the greatest online games out there and the new maps are great
