Halo 3 ODST - To beat the campaign on Legendary ... just do the last level?

yes. It might be a silly question. But I want to unlock dare so i have to beat the campaign on Legendary. Is it done with doing the last level or do I have to do all missions from the beginning on?
And do I have to do everytime "streets of mombasa" or is it ok just to repeat every level on legendary?

You have to complete every level and mission on legendary, so just doing the last mission won't work

Sadly, you have to go start to finish, i had your exact same dilemma not 2 days ago.

Oh btw, when it gets hectic, i suggest just running like a mofo.
