Halo 3 Or Gears of War?

I never play Halo in my life and I have heard it has excellent graphics,music and gameplay but too short.But GOW looks great!Help me out!This is my first time uying a Xbox 360 also.

you could rent both, i think they are both really good, I would give the single player to gears of war and multi player to halo 3 but they are both really good

can you get both? they are both great games i would go with halo3 cuz the multiplayer is better than GOW i think and the replay value of halo 3 is like forever

I would probally say gears of war for the gore and multiplayer. And halo 3 for the good story and okay online experience.

Well both i hv played and both to me are very very good..So u really shld get your hands on both and u wont regret whatsoever..Its true that Halo has a short storyline bt its great..I'm a really big fan of GOW so u shld get it too no doubt bout it =)

I'd say Halo 3 since it's newer and a little better single and multiplayer experience, but GoW is also a great game. I would go with Halo 3.

i have played GOW and i own halo 3....do what i do....get halo 3, and then later get GOW, unless you have some extra money somewhere in the confines of your home, get both at the same time.
